Description
A little bit of country and a little bit rock-n-roll, some punk, some pop, all under the alternative umbrella of sound. This is what you’ll hear if you tune into KPOV Bend’s Tuesday night show, Variable Velocity. The hosts of the show were looking for a merch design for T-shirts and stickers to give away during KPOV’s yearly pledge drive, and potentially a badge that they might be able to use to represent the show for the future. Initially, I put together a few ideas that conveyed “velocity”, that didn’t quite land. They were sick, but too clean. The operative feedback was “grungier”. Then it came to me - a hand, throwing the up horns, breaking the sound barrier, and blasting off into the outer stratisphere.
