Description
Banter is a culinary triple threat - a contemporary cafe, bar, and restaurant slinging vibrant, plant-forward food and bev for conscientious eaters. It’s a go-to establishment for folks in Bellingham, Washington. My friend Finn Donnelly designed a flexible, cheeky brand identity for them which I quite admired, so I was excited to take the reigns for a bit and mess around with it! When they brought me on, they were struggling with inconsistent messaging across their signage and socials, and confusion about their impending change of location. My first task was to make it clear for their fans when and to where their favorite brunch spot was moving. During my time with Banter I also revamped their menu system, created templates for Instagram posts, designed packaging for merchanise, tweaked their color scheme and typographic systems, and helped them work out some of their messaging.
